Since the very beginning, a passion for coffee has been the driving force that led Maestro Clemente to delve deeper and deeper into the roasting sector. For over twenty years, he served as a representative, first at Deorsola in Turin and later at Illy Caffè in Trieste. However, his passion went far beyond sales. He dreamed of producing, roasting, and creating his own blends—bringing to life an artisanal, high-quality product that held something truly his own within it.

And so it was that in 1977, together with his wife Mary, Guercio Clemente founded a family-run sole proprietorship under the name Caffè Aymorè, a brand acquired from an old roaster in Alessandria. That year, his dream became a reality, laying the foundation for the future Jamaica Coffee. One could not have existed without the other: the experience, hard work, continuous research, improvements, and the many small successes of Caffè Aymorè paved the way for the birth of Jamaica Coffee. Two seemingly different brands, yet sharing the values of a single family: passion, quality, refinement, and craftsmanship. Caffè Aymorè represents the beginning of a dream—ancient, yet golden.
